My 2nd graders need your help!
We started a research project about food in other cultures/countries. The kids loved going to this New York Times article and learning about breakfast in other countries.
Next, they each picked a random country and went to CultureGrams to learn about what types of foods are eaten there.
They loved learning new country names and what life is like there!
We started to wonder about lunch for other kids. I asked if there was a way we could find out and they said yes...the computer can help us! I decided we would try a Twitter project. The kids were excited and started to brainstorm what we might ask in our tweet.
We also decided we needed to share pictures of what our lunches look like, so each day during lunch I am going in to the cafeteria and we are photographing a few 2nd grade lunches.
Please help us out! Take a picture of what your student's are eating for lunch and tweet it with #kidsworldlunch. We would also love for you to add your state and/or country.
I have no idea if we will get any tweets, but the kids are excited!
