While perusing Pinterest, I've seen many teachers using foldables in notebooks and as student products.
Creating a foldable book is really simple in Google Drawing.
1. Start with the one of the templates I created, Landscape or Portrait.
2. Place your cover image and text in the bottom right box.
3. Place your back cover image and text on the bottom left box.
4. Place the inside images and text on the top left and right boxes. Make sure to turn everything in these boxes upside down!
You should now have a drawing which looks something like this:
6. You can leave the black lines or you can delete them before printing for a cleaner look.
7. Print the drawing and then fold to create a book.
Using the image below, fold along line A and then line B.
Here are a few ideas for foldable books:
- Students could create a book for a topic they are learning about.
- Students could create their own greeting cards.
- Students could make custom foldables for math or reading notebooks.
- Older students or teachers could make books for younger students to read.
Happy folding!
