Photoshop Elements :

You can many Photoshop Actions within Elements.

You just need to follow these steps:

  • The folder containing your actions and PSD files must be placed into:
    Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0\Previews\Effects or

    • Before the actions will appear in the Styles and Effects Palette, the user must go to the folder Adobe Photoshop Elements\ Previews\Cache\Effects Cache and delete the following three files before restarting Photoshop Elements:
    CatagoryCache.che
    ListCache.che
    ThumbNailCache.che

Occasionally, actions will only run in Photoshop because Elements doesn't contain the necessary functions for it.
